Who we are
Dhananjay Food and Beverages was established in Surat, Gujarat in 2009 with a passion for creating enjoyable and affordable beverage experiences for everyday Indian consumers.
It all started with one simple question — why should Indians pay a high price for quality beverages? That question sparked a journey from a small production unit in Surat to a brand now reaching consumers across India and 12+ countries worldwide.
Today, Blackbon offers a diverse range of beverages including non-alcoholic malt drinks, Pio Pulpy aloe vera fruit juices, Pio Tender Coconut Water, Classic Energy Drinks, Kesar Mango Pulp, and bold Energy Boosters — all under one trusted Indian brand.

2009
The beginning
Dhananjay Food and Beverages was founded in Surat, Gujarat, with a clear vision — to offer affordable and quality energy beverages designed for everyday Indian consumers. A bold new chapter in India's beverage industry had begun.
2010
Blackbon is born
After extensive research and expert consultation, production of Blackbon products officially began. Three variants of Classic Energy Drinks in glass bottle packaging were introduced to the local Surat and Gujarat market — and the consumer response was immediate and positive.
2012
Expanding across India
Riding on growing consumer demand, Blackbon expanded its market reach beyond Gujarat into Northern India and Mumbai — marking the brand's first major steps toward becoming a recognised pan-India beverage name with a widening distribution network.
2014
Growing the Product Range
Responding to shifting consumer preferences and expanding market demand, Blackbon broadened its product portfolio by introducing fruit-based beverage options. New flavours and formulations were developed to offer consumers greater choice across different taste profiles and occasions.
2016
Modern production upgrade
After two years of dedicated planning and investment, Blackbon's production facility was upgraded with advanced technological machinery and modern processing systems. This upgrade ensured consistently superior product quality, improved efficiency, and extended shelf life across the entire product range.
2017
Full product range launch
Blackbon launched its most complete product range to date — Classic Energy Drinks, Non-Alcoholic Malt Drinks, and Pio Pulpy Fruit Juices with Aloe Vera Pulp — available in aluminium cans, glass bottles, and PET bottles. This marked a defining milestone in Blackbon's growth, and the journey continues to grow stronger with every passing year.
